Sant Pol de Mar is one of the few beach resorts that has always retained its authenticity and charm despite the growing tourism in Spain. The small Catalan fishing village attracts many local tourists and artists who are inspired by the small streets, beautiful white houses and the beautiful surroundings.It is also home to some great restaurants, such as the 3rd Generation Family restaurant “Banyz Lluis” right on the beach in front of our house. In the high season, the municipality organizes various activities in the town every week, such as a local agricultural market to a village party with local musicians.
The house:
Casa Feliz Del Mar is a cozy Mediterranean house surrounded by the sea and the forest. Our house is perfect for couples, friends and families. With it’s cozy stylish design, comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, private terrace with sea view and your own piece of the garden with an swimming pool, we try to provide you the best holiday experience possible.
The house is equipped with:
- Comfortable beds (boxspring 160 cm x 200 cm) and 2 fluffy and 2 hard pillows per room, mosquito nets and one fan on each room. Also baby bed and high chair are available. * 1 of the bedrooms we have the option to split the double bed in two single beds in case necessary.
- Kitchen with washing machine, fridge with freezer, Nespresso machine, and water boiler.
- Living room with cable TV and HDMI access. * Optional: PS3 with games and 2 remotes for additional €25 p. week.
- Terrace with Barbecue and sea view
The house is only a 4 minute walk to the beach and 9 minutes to the train station and center of the cozy town. In the center of town you have a supermarket next to the train station that is open every day also on Sundays, bakery, bars, restaurants and other establishments that provide anything you need.
From the train station “Sant Pol de Mar” you have a good connection, which brings you to the cities of Barcelona and Girona within they hour. Perfect for a day of shopping, football match of FC Barcelona or a city trip.
The airport of Barcelona or Girona are about 1.5hrs away with public transport and about 50 minutes by car. We also provide pick-up and drop-off services from and to the airport on request.
National parks and forests are nearby if you want to walk, cycle or do other outdoor activities.
Also the coastal villages next to Sant Pol such as Calella, Canet de Mar, Arenys de Mar and a bit further Tossa del Mar, Begur, Platja d ‘Aro are also worth a visit. In addition there are also water parks and plenty of other activities to do in the area such as horseback riding or a wine tasting.
